The mission of our organization is to help fund equipment and other items for children with special needs in Southern Minnesota when insurance or other funding sources are insufficient.
Description:
Mankato Area Children in Need is a non-profit organization* established in 1998. Our mission is to help fund equipment and other items for children with special needs in Southern Minnesota when insurance or other funding sources are insufficient. Over the past twenty one years we have raised over $350,000, and these funds have all stayed locally to benefit these children. This organization incurs no administrative costs, as it is run exclusively by volunteers. Our annual fundraiser is a charitable golf tournament that includes varying levels of financial sponsorship. We are very appreciative of the businesses and individuals for their support that enables us to provide for the needs of these children.
